Attaching files to emails is a very easy way to transfer them from one person to another, however you may find that files over 20MB cannot be sent. If this happens, just follow the steps below:


  1. Go to wetransfer.com
  2. Follow the instructions on the left hand side of the page:

    1. Click on 'Add your files' and search for the file you wish to send. You can attach more than one file, as long as the sum of the files is under 2GB.

    2. Enter the email of the recipient in the 'Email to' text box.

    3. Enter your own email in the 'Your email' text box.

    4. (Optional) Enter a message to the recipient regarding the file you are about to transfer.

  3. Once you have the information entered, click 'Transfer', and the transfer will begin. You'll receive an email when the transfer completes.
